Took the basic aerobatics course. Beyond doubt, one of the most vibrant aviation adventures one could undertake after getting a PPL licence. The training location is a grass airfield with some local flight schools practicing circuits. The airspace in comparison with my homebase is a wild west (in a good meaning) - after piles of notams, tight airspace and endless restrictions, flying around Szekszárd was surprisingly filled with freedom. Uncontrolled airspace up to 9k, very stable weather in spring and autumn (or I was just lucky). Traffic radio communication is mostly in Hungarian, but once you do an English announcement, everybody switch to English. The Bulldog aircraft if very interesting and somewhat steam. It's a genuine metal bird from the times there were before EFIDs and plastic panels. It's a seat-to-seat, very spacey trainer. Before trying this, I've had some experience in an inline aerobatic aircraft, so I can compare. In my opinion, as for a training aircraft it is rather advantage - an instructor could really help you with controls showing proper inputs and seeing your mistakes directly. The training team is professional and very friendly. Get ready flying several times a day. Can be challenging, especially if the last time you were upside down was in a theme park in your childhood decades ago. Worth to consider finding workaround for not getting airsick, or just knowing how to identify and terminate timely. Good news is that you get adjusted quite quick. Great experience, and now I truly envy to everybody who gets it in the first time.

I subscribed the ATPL Theory package. Teachers are reliable, online classroom well organized with clear scheduling shared several weeks in advance. They provide KSA course as well. Also the Training office is always fast in the answers providing all the information and papers need for a smooth exam. My CAA was AustroControl, all perfect.

I chose Easy-Pilot as theory ATO for my modular ATPL. Overall, I was very satisfied with my choice! Communication was always very fast, webinars were very punctual (every Saturday afternoon) and never cancelled, all necessary examinations and ATO-internal pre-exam assessments can be conducted at one's own pace completely independent and fully online. This was especially important to me, as I was working full time in parallel my studies. I'd like to especially extend my thanks to Szonja, who even responded to inquiries within minutes on Sunday afternoons - a stark contrast to German flight schools, where even simple things often take week to months, while students are left in the dark or are just being outright ignored (while paying much more money). Ask me how I know ;-) To provide some insights into the great communications: Initial contact with some questions was setup with the head instructor within a day, all questions were competently answered, the contract was signed from all sides within 12 hours or so, and I never waited more than a day for the signage of the official registration form from Easy Pilot's side. Overall, easy-pilot really does make the theory easy. You of course still have to pass the official examinations yourself, which does require a bit of effort on your side ;-) The combined price for the mandatory online classes, book, and full access to a question bank of choice (ATPLQ or AviationExam) is very fair. Would choose Easy-Pilot again and already recommended them to colleagues, who are now also students with Easy-Pilot. Don't be fooled by the website, which may appear a bit scamy at first: The offering is real and the service is well priced :-) There is a minor point Easy-Pilot can improve on: The web portal for internal assessments is a bit over-designed (in the "very flashy" sense) and could use some simplification. On the other hand, having a 120% polished portal would probably cost 3x the price, so I won't complain :-)
